On Friday night, Sonitpur Police received an information of one Covid-19 positive patient who fled away from Tezpur Medical College & Hospital.
The patient namely Birsa Kumar (25 yrs) S/O Lt. Deora Kumar hails from Malijan, Loha Line, Sonabil Tea Estate in Sonitpur District.
On receipt of the information I/C Salonibari OP alongwith staff rushed to Sonabil Tea Estate and apprehended the patient. Later on he was brought to TMCH Covid Care Centre with the help of medical staff.
