Sonitpur District Prepares for ADRE 2024 Examinations

Sonitpur district officials convened a crucial preparatory meeting for the upcoming Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) 2024 on September 10, 2024. The meeting, held at the District Commissioner’s office, focused on ensuring the smooth conduct of the Grade III and Grade IV examinations scheduled for September 15, September 29, and October 27, 2024.

Central Observer Shri Oinam Sarankumar Singh, IAS, Commissioner of Industries & Commerce, Assam, presided over the meeting. District Commissioner Shri Deba Kumar Mishra briefed the Observer on the district’s comprehensive preparations for facilitating the examinations. Key points of discussion included:

  1. Immediate response strategies for tackling rumors
  2. Enhanced security arrangements
  3. Measures to maintain the sanctity of the examination process

Superintendent of Police Shri Barun Purkayastha outlined the traffic management plan and security measures to be implemented at examination centers across the district.

Following the review meeting, the Central Observer and District Commissioner conducted a training session for Centre In-charges of Tezpur LAC. Subsequently, Shri Singh inspected the strong room center and several examination venues.

The ADRE 2024 for Grade III HSSLC level posts in Sonitpur district is set to take place on September 15, 2024. A total of 61,706 candidates are expected to appear for the examination, distributed across 155 centers in the district. Notably, 32,093 of these candidates are from other districts, highlighting the significance of the event.

The meeting was attended by key district officials, including ADC Kabita Kakati Konwar, ADC Twahir Alam, and Circle Officers, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to ensuring a fair and efficient examination process.
