Sonitpur Police’s war against drugs is on.
In an operation based on source information, OC Chariduwar PS raided the house of one Rubul Amin and recovered 136 small plastic containers each carrying 120 mg of suspected heroin.
The police have nabbed the following from the house
(1)Rubul Amin, 29 yrs S/O Abdul Rahman of Okabasti Bangali gaon, PS- Chariduar
(2) Rajibur Rahman, 25 yrs S/O Lt. Motibur Rahman of Okabasti Bangali gaon, PS-Chariduwar and
(3) Nurjaman Haque, 40 yrs S/O Lt. Ahamod Ali of Khanamuk, PS- Chariduwar Total
Weight of suspected contraband is (136 x 120= 16 gram 320 milligram). The department has also seized one Ertiga car and 3 mobile phones are also seized. Further legal formalities and interrogation for backward linkages is on.
