Renowned sculptor of Tezpur, Sri Jaychandra Das, the man who revived various sculptures of the well known historical places of Tezpur like the Agnigarh, the Chitralekha Udyan, the Mahabhairab temple etc is now fighting with severe illness and impaired economic condition to proceed with further treatment.
On Wednesday, “The Socialist Organization” reached out to him to provide essential food with the promise of helping him in the best way possible. They further urged the people of Tezpur and Assam to extend their minimum valuable helping hand for the unfortunate sufferer.
General Secretary of the said organization, Trishanu Bhuyan through several media Houses, requested Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma and the cultural minister of Assam, Bimal Borah to take up this matter on high priority and provide all help.
