After the first ‘Yuva Mann Meet Wellness Festival‘ which happened offline during pre-covid days in Nov 2019, youth wellness hub had to adapt to the blended approach of conducting its activities and annual festivals. The very first festival was to claim a legitimate space for youth mental health discourse using the language of wellness and thereby expanding the horizon of mental health in its true sense of ‘health’, beyond illness.
The second festival happened in Dec 2020 on a virtual platform focusing on holding on to hope in a pandemic-infused alienating world with the theme of ‘Bridging hearts, being miles apart’. As youth wellness hub realized that it needs to learn to live with covid, the third edition of the festival is going to happen on 29-30 Jan, 2022 taking a bold step by not just thinking of ourselves during these difficult times, but renewing commitments towards care of others.
The theme of this year’s festival thus puts forward the idea of collective-care with its theme of ‘Rooting for each other; Linking communities of care.
