Tezpur, Jul 3 : In an unfortunate incident a man was killed in a wild buffalo attack in Tezpur of Sonitpur District on Monday morning.
In search of food, two wild buffaloes moved to human settlement at Bhojkhowa Chapori area. One Mamtaz Ali aged (65) who went for his usual agricultural works got attacked by the Wild Buffalo. The person died on spot.
The police reached the spot to tackle the situation and informed Forest Department to rescue the Wild Buffaloes. More details are awaited.
