Citizens were curious to witness an unidentified body which was recovered from Jiya Bharali river in Tarajan area, Jamugurihat of Sonitpur district on Sunday.
As per sources, few local girls of the area while walking on the river bank were shocked to see the floating body after which they informed the local people, who further informed the police immediately.
The body has been estimated to be around 65-year-old and further investigations are on.
