On March 29, 2024, a joint coordination meeting was convened at the Conference Hall of DC Office, Sonitpur. The meeting, chaired by District Commissioner, Sonitpur & RO of 11-Sonitpur HPC, Shri Deba Kumar Mishra, brought together officials from both the Civil and Police Administration.
The meeting was attended by DIG (NR) Tezpur, Shri Bijoy Giri Kuligam, and SP Barun Purkayastha, along with other high-ranking officials from both the Civil and Police Administration. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss and plan various measures and steps to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming General Election to Lok Sabha 2024.
