The sacred site, where local devotees have worshipped for many years, was left in ruins. The gigantic tree smashed through the main than building, leaving a field of debris. For the tight-knit religious community, it was a heartbreaking loss of their longstanding spiritual heart.
Worshippers expressed immense anguish at seeing their beloved Than desecrated in such a manner. Urgent appeals have been made to the government to prioritize rebuilding the Aai Than.
