The Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Assam, held a press meet on the 20th of February, 2025, at Tezpur College. This meeting served as a prelude to the much-anticipated 35th State Convention, which will be hosted at Tezpur University on the 22nd and 23rd of February, 2025.
The upcoming convention will be honored by the presence of several notable figures. Distinguished guests include Dr. Balmukund Pandey, National Organization Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana; Hemant Dhing Majumdar, National General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana; Pabitra Margherita, Honorable Union Minister of State, Ministry of External Affairs and Handloom; Biswajit Daimary, Honorable Chairman of Assam Legislative Assembly; Ranjit Das, Honorable Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Law, Tourism, and General Administration; Ranjit Dutta, Honorable Member of Parliament for Tezpur Lok Sabha constituency; Prithiraj Rava, Honorable MLA for Tezpur; Professor Shambhu Nath Singh, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Tezpur Central University; Dr. Ramesh Chandra Deka, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Cotton University; Dr. Swadhinata Mahanta, Former President of Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Assam; and Dr. Niranjan Kalita, Regional President of North East India for Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana.
During the press meet, the agenda and significance of the upcoming state convention were extensively discussed.
