Heated clash between AASU and ABVP supporters ahead of Tezpur College Election, what exactly happened ?

Tezpur, February 4 : A heated clash broke between the supporters of AASU and ABVP near the Tezpur College premises on Wednesday, few days prior to the Tezpur College Election.

As per ground reports, budding actress and social media gossip, Upasana Priyam, who is on a 3 day visit to Tezpur for her upcoming music video shoot, was spotted near Tezpur College premises for alleged Election Campaign for ABVP.

According to AASU supporters, any outsider or public figure is not allowed to campaign for any student parties. While ABVP denied the fact that, Upasana was not inside college premises and that there is no question to be pointed on this.

(Furthermore, if sources are to be believed, Upasana visited her cousin who was playing election for Tezpur College, however which is not a verified information).

In this unfortunate incident, a supporter of AASU is believed to be injured in the clash that broke with ABVP which led to chaos near the Tezpur College premises with both student organisations raising slogans against each other. The injured student was taken to the nearby hospital.

It may be noted that a heated argument broke between the ABVP supporters and the Journalists who were covering the incident.

Police Personnel and CRPF rushed to the spot to take control of the situation. The matters will be investigated as in what went wrong.
