City Artist Sandip Nath’s Painting makes it to Uganda

Progress proudly follows town once again as Tezpur artist Mr. Sandip Nath successfully attached his masterpiece in the Worldwide Art Movement viz. Arctotic Waves at the Nommo Art Gallery in Kampala, Uganda.

This International exhibition has commenced from 29th Oct to 1st Nov, 2018 and was inaugurated by Mr. Francis Peter Ojede, Executive Director of the Uganda National Culture Centre (UNCC) on 30th Oct 2018. A total of 36 International Artists are believed to have enrolled themselves to display their efforts in the gallery this year.

Born on 10th March, 1995 in Gotlong, Tezpur, the Veteran Mr. Nath has participated in various National and International Exhibitions and has achieved milestones in his passion of painting.

Some of his intense participations are as follows :

1) Govt. Museum & Art Gallery, Chandigarh, Punjab, 2017.

2) BMA Hall, Rajasthan, 2017.

3) State Gallery of Art (Hyderabad) Telengana, 2018.

4) Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshasala, Kolkata, 2018.

5) Lalit Kala Academy (Ravi Shankar Kala Bhawan) Ahmedabad, 2018.

Mr. Nath also has profound experiences of about 10 years, acting as faculty member for artists over different regions and is also the In-Charge of The Artist Of India, Assam Chapter. In a conversation with Tezpur Buzz, he also said that all his dedications are well focused for his next exhibition, to be held in Indonesia in December, 2018.
