The entire Tezpur seems to be awaiting for the biggest winter festival of North Bank, The Grand Brahmaputra Ethnic Fest. As the name suggest, this holds to be a festival combining all the Ethnic Cultures of North-East. A place perfect for having fun, frolic, ethnic foods, music, live concerts, games and a lot more- The Brahmaputra Ethnic Fest has taken a special place in all our hearts.
Organisers of the Event, the United Assamese Youth Club has officially announced the plan of hosting the fest in the mid march 2020. Amid the ongoing protest against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019, the fest has to be postponed to a further date in the month of March.
It may be mentioned that, with the due course of time, there might be slight changes in the artist line up for the event. Earlier the fest was scheduled from 30th Jan to 2nd Feb 2020, however has to be postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.
The United Assamese Youth Club Members are working with all their hearts to make the event a greater and a bigger one, by not only upgrading the entertainment section but by also adding activities related with Infotainment and Arts section. A constructive plan of organising Seminars, Youth Conclaves, State Arts, Craft competitions and a lot more, have been drawn out.
